Episode 117: Long Island Dirt With Rose Kelso

I am going to say something and I'm only going to say it once...

Rose Kelso is pure, unfiltered chaos. And I can't get enough.

Rose (or Long Island Dirt as she is known in internet circles) is a writer, performer, producer, photographer, director, song-writer, TikTokker... the list goes on and on and on.

Professionally speaking, she is a writer and director at Comedy Central. Not bad for a young 20-something. She has worked for SNL, The Jim Gaffigan Show, BuzzFeed, and landed her promotion to a writer at Comedy Central by taking a chance and pitching some sketches.

Outside of the "real" world, she has amassed a following of 200K+ on TikTok with what can only be described as pure, unhinged brilliance.

Rose was an absolute joy to interview. We talked creating opportunities for herself, learning how to do every single job on a video set, and asking her mother to film her fake masturbating in a Chase Bank parking lot for a sketch...

You can follow Rose over on TikTok @longislanddirt_ or check out her portfolio of work at rosekelso.com.
